Care (Christian Action Research and Education) and The Christian Institute are just two of a number of charities which, by lobbying Parliament, act as a Christian moral and social voice in the world of politics. The Institute for Contemporary Christianity through education and research, shows the relevance of the Bible to every part of social and personal life.

Among Christian environmental groups, A Rocha Trust is concerned for international conservation, and the recently formed John Ray Initiative is dedicated to combining scientific knowledge with a Christian understanding of our environment.
